Wow, this is horrible! I’ve used Zyrtec for 4 years. Best allergy medicine I ever tried. I switched to the generic 3 weeks ago and it’s horrible. My allergies are the worst they have ever been. It’s like I didn’t even take anything. Runny nose, uncomfortable throat and ears, wheezing terribly.
What the heck? Do not buy this!!! Spend the extra money and get the name brand.

generic zyrtec for $5. plotting i’d give it a try, since SINGULAIR is too dang expensive and actifed is a hassle to buy (kept behind the counter). i’ve tried many, many other otc meds and none work.
been on this one for a week and have not noticed any enhancement in the drippy nose & sinus difficulty.
what i HAVE noticed is that even taking 1/2 a pill each 24 hrs leaves me lethargic round the clock
-and-
i’ve been wanting to EAT like there’s no tomoorow. what the heck?

I started taking generic cetirizine a couple of years ago because of skin allergies. I was then living in Korea, and picking it up at any local pharmacy. It was low-cost, about $.25 a pill. When I arrived in America, I figured it would be cheaper, as this is the Land of the Free and Home of the Courageous. Incorrect! In just about every pharmacy and Target and supermarket, all they sell is Zyrtec – which starts at about $1 per pill, and in bulk drops to maybe $.50 each. But it’s the exact same thing as what you can order nearly somewhere off the Net, Amazon included, for as low-cost at $.10 per pill. I can’t even imagine why Zyrtec is still on the market, apart from for people so poor they can’t afford an Internet connection and a confidence card. How ironic.
