the only wall this product stuck to was my bathroom door (which i tried, just to see if i was crazy). it would not get suction on the tub/shower tiles…which were perfectly clean, and perfectly flat. it is right, but, that the tiles were not huge enuf to cover, entirely, the dimension of the suction cup…probably shy 1/4″ all around. be sure that your tiles are large because if there is any gap at all, it won’t adhere. also, it looks very imposing..you feel as though you are in a medical setting or an ancient age home.

I followed the instructions and cleaned my charming tile wall and both of the rubber suction cups before installing. Twice, the suction cup came undone after 1/2 hour and fell off the wall !!
I have no confidence in this product or a replacement. This could have lead to a perilous fall in a shower with glass doors …

I bought this item and have been using it in my shower as a hand rail. It works as advertised and I am pleased with it. But, about a week after I received it I found a similiar product for sale at Walmart for less than $12. I bought this one for my other shower and find that it works just as well as this more expensive product I bought online. I could have saved myself some money, if I had been a more diligent shopper.

Did not work on my tile that has a small bit of texture. Only works on the smoothest of surfaces. Will have to return.

Please examine carefully the place where you are preparation to install the grab. The spacing of 4 inch tiles is N G. It would be best if the surface has no tiles, only a charming surface. Since the bases of the grab bar are five inches, be warned and careful.
