The colorless noise can be programmed to fade out as the sunset light goes out, or stay on all night. Comes with hand made opal glass globe. One year manufacturer?s warranty.

I am vastly disapointed that I Paid $130 for any Alarm clock that didn’t work! I bought it for a Christmas present and when my mother in law went to use it it did’t light up….so she replaced the bulb and that wasn’t it. She called the company and they are going to send her a new one. But here I bought the more expensive one thinking it would be surpass and now she has to go through all this!

This is a +$100 clock. Period. It doesn’t do anything like “wake you up naturally.” The thing has a 60 watt light incandescent, flame shaped bulb in it; that’s it. If you reckon this will wake you up, try going in to your completely dark bedroom with a small lamp using a 60 watt bulb. Would this wake you up? Unless you’re extra sensitive to light when you sleep, this product is completely ineffective and worthless. I reckon the thought waking up “naturally” to light is a fantastic one, but this product will not deliver persons consequences. The only thing that wakes me up is the beeping. So instead of waking up to the radio in the dark with my ancient alarm clock ($15, by the way), I now wake up to annoying beeping in a dimly lit room (for +$100). Wow. That’s money well spent. I’ll be sending this pointless thing back to the company ASAP. Perhaps one of persons clocks that allow you to plug in your own light source will do the job?

I wanted an item that would start to light and continue to light until it was shut off. It did not meet my needs because it is specifically an alarm clock, which the manufacturer clearly marks. The product was designed for the early riser that has a hard time waking up. You set a time and slowly, over time, the light gets brighter and brighter util the alarm goes of. I believe that there is clad science behind this thought and would be bowled over if it did not work for a fantastic deal of people. The unit is heavy and appears to be stoutly built. The light is bright but not glaring.

Here are my 3 issues with this:
1. Low quality design and construction. As soon as you take it out of the box you wonder why you paid so much for it. It looks like it was spray painted by a child and the buttons are flimsy.
2. It is tedious to use. There are only 3 buttoms to use all of the features(not including the alarm on/off button). Just to set the time, you have to go through a menu with one button until you get to the time set mode and then you can only increment/decrement one minute at a time (no hour incrementing). Major pain in the ass.
3. It doesn’t work. I was really excited about having this clock. I was so sick of waking up to the beep-beep-beep of my ancient alarm clock, and this seemed like it was going to make my total day surpass. Unfortunately, the “sunrise” hasn’t woken me up once, and I still wake up to the beep-beep-beep of it’s backup alarm everyday. And I’m a very light sleeper.
I wish I had something excellent to say about this, but I don’t. For me it was a lot of money for something that works no surpass than the low-cost alarm clock I’ve had for 10 years. At least on the ancient one I could set the time very easily.
