This thermometer should be simple, but it is not. The last tempeture remains on screen for a long time and you have to constantly keep pressing the on/off botton to erase it, then it is not inmediately ready to use. Do not buy, waist of your money!!

My thermometer came with either a burnt out battery or doesn’t work at all – I’ll find out today when I try to replace the battery. It’s a pain (…) either way though.

if this beeping wakes your husband up or prevents you from falling back asleep i pray to god you don’t have traffic going down your street in the morning! a passing car would make more noise than this thermometer! fantastic buy, i’ve checked it against my glass thermometer and it’s very accurate and quick. vastly recomended.

This thermometer drives me & my husband crazy! It beeps constantly while it’s taking the temperature, concluding with a series of rapid beeps. I miss my ancient thermometer that beeped only once at the end.
I usually wake up for the initially time in the morning a couple of hours before our alarm goes off, and I take my temperature then. With our before thermometer it was no huge deal to do it that way, but this noisy thermometer wakes us both up and we have vex falling back asleep afterwards.
Certainly avoid this thermometer if constant beeping noises bother you initially thing in the morning!
