There used to be a small red thread on each individual Band Aid wrapper, but they have done away with that and there is no other way to get the band-aid out other than just savagely rip it off. Of course, that regularly bends or tears the Band-Aid. If there is a surpass way, they sure don’t make any reference to it on the package. You’d reckon the packaging engineers at J & J would be smart enough to have figured out a user-friendly way to open the darn wrapper. Sadly, other bandage makers are no surpass. What is it with bandage makers?

Why is that?
- The fabric moves and stretches with you. Other bandages do not and pull off.
- The glue is strong. Albeit, I only use it on adults as it might be too strong for my kids.
- The gauze is absorbent and does not stick to the wound.
- The fabric breaths. I stay away from the waterproof types under normal circumstances as I want the wound to also get some air.
- The bandage stays place. I place it on and never worry about it coming off before it is time to change it.
Foam bandages are a nice second place, especially for kids, but for an adult, there is no surpass bandage.
