I have had mild eczema all my life and finally found an over-the-counter product that works. I was given a sample at a shape conference two months ago and started using it. It was wonderful!!! It was the Aveeno eczema care line. When I ran out this week, I went to every local store trying to find it – with no luck. I contacted Aveeno today and they said that they discontinued it in 2009 because the distributors were not ordering it enough. They then kept the exact same product and repackaged it calling it the Aveeno Advanced Care. They also had the same problem with the distributors not buying it as well, so they just discontinued it altogether. It’s a shame because it really worked. The lady at Aveeno said that they take notes from everyone who contacts them…so please, everyone contact them and tell them to bring it back!!

I have been using Aveeno Eczema Care for quite a while and when I went to get more because of being nearly out found that they no longer carried it. I have my local drug store looking for me. I have run into the same problem online that many of you have. I do not know if Aveeno just dropped the Eczema care and made Advanced Care the new name or not. I still have my pot that is nearly empty so I will just have to see if I can find it locally and see if it is the same ingredients. I really hope so I would despise to have to look for something else that works. I just found out that this helped my dog too with her skin tribulations surpass then anything in the pet line I have found. I did see a few things I plotting of trying for her on one of the pet websites I go to will have to check their ingredients as well. Maybe someone else makes the same thing with the same ingredients just call it something else. I pray we all find out soon as it is a much needed product but I refuse to play the highway robbery game. I will just use more prescription ointment if I have too and hope to find something that will work for my dog. Hey, Aveeno if you stopped making it please bring it back.

Product is exceptional for dry skin. But, seller advertised sale of Aveeno for Eczema. Nowhere on the actual product does it say it is for eczema. Honest mistake???

I just bought this product from crazy sellers for my three year ancient son who had bleeding eczema if I do not use this particular Aveeno product. For some reason Aveeno has discontinued this product so people like Crazy sellers reckon it is OK to mark up a 10 dollar item for over 40 dollars with shipping. I reckon that is truly unethical and it should be stopped by Amazon.com. This is a fantastic product and it a shame these horrible people feel it is more vital to making a profit then helping people with this horrible and painful affliction. SHAME ON YOU!!
