I am not enamored with the thought that at 63 I have to be tracking my blood sugar faithfully. The realization did come to me that if I wanted to be around with my sweetie for some more years, counting blood sugar consequences would be something that I would just have to do.
I chose the Breeze because after fumbling around with units which have you stab your fiddle with and then balance the unit in one hand and guide it with the other and then….well you get the thought. An inexpert self could use this with no tribulations at all.
After having used units that need to be re-adjusted from time to time, it is nice to only have to replace the circular cartridges and snap the top closed. Fitting the stickers into the sticker machine is another thing. I finally got it. That’s something that all these manufacturers could work on.
I also valued that I do not have to constantly stab a fiddle with. The sensation of doing it on the palm of the hand, leg, or lower forearm is much less than the pain at the fiddle with puncture zone. Besides, one can vary the place one sticks oneself.
I have had excellent luck with the Breeze unit. Re-fills are unfilled through Amazon and they will save you money.
So…..If you have to do this thing along with me and possibly millions of other Americans, let’s do it together. Let’s just say it was a ‘Breeze’. Get it you won’t be disappointed.

I am recently diagnosed Type 2, I am testing regularly to maintain without tablets, I plotting this would be so much simpler than other meters, but it isn’t and it’s expensive. I don’t even know if insurance companies pick up the full cost, so check that out before requesting a prescription.
